Front Page Streaming

If you log in and nothing seems to be happening you can always go to the archive and view unedited video there (at whatever speed you like).

Xeoma Surveillance have very generously provided me with a sponsored license to use their software which I now have configured. I am embedding the live video stream into the web site but, after looking into the bandwidth usage, I need to see what the costs are likely to be. I can stream directly from my server without additional costs, I believe, but that may come with other limitations.

If I am not working on the build, archived video should be available. If I am working on the build, then live video should be available below. You will probably (should) have to log in.

When viewing live, you probably will need to pick “mjpeg” from the menu as at present the webrtc format (default) will not work. For archive video, you can use either webrtc or mjpeg. Please note the archive is slow (at present) and will probably remain that way until I start uploading edited video to the web site server itself, although I am going to look into what I can do about this. When viewing archive clips there will be a little gear on the bottom right hand side. If you click on that it will bring up a setting bar where you can pick dates, times and change the speed at which the video clip will play. The progress bar across the bottom is relevant to the current clip.

If you double-click on a single camera view, you should get full screen. You can also connect here: https://xeoma.myeabuild.com and open the live view in a browser tab or window of its own instead of this smaller frame. From there you can resize the thumbnails by dragging the corner of one of the images.
