Here we am assembling the seat front and rear channels. I had not received enough AN3-7A bolts in my kit so Zenith had to send them to me.
Also, I like to have washers under the heads of my bolts, generally, but especially when the material underneath the head is not metal, so I bought a bag of 100 x AN960-10 washers from aircraft spruce. I also bought a number of additional AN365-1032 nuts.
It should be noted that while Zenith doesn’t specify in the build process, the FAAs best practices, FAA AC 43.13‑1B, Acceptable Methods, Techniques, and Practices, require a washer under every nylon lock nut.
Nothing particularly mysterious or difficult.
While we did put the bolts into the front torque tube bearing we did not put any rivets through the LS75F37-3, seat front channel doubler, particularly as no indication is provided as to the rivet size.
