I am happy to say that I am finally back to building my wife’s Zenith 750 SD. It’s been a long break since February due to the preparation, open and selling of the nectarines and peaches.
Once the orchard was closed, there was a lot of catching up on yard work that had been in abeyance for almost 2 full months so you can imagine it was looking a bit like a jungle.
Nevertheless, I restarted scuffing the fuselage smaller parts in preparation for priming prior to assembly. Although the Zenith instructions don’t specifically say to deburr and scuff, it is in the general procedures of metal working they provide. Sadly I have not seen any mention in the videos as Roger et al just seem to get straight on with assembly. In fact in the videos I’ve watched I don’t even see that they have primed where two metal surfaces join…
No pictures today. I’ll post some with my next post which may be tomorrow or Wednesday as I am planning on going flying tomorrow and that will likely take most / all day.
