Building The 750 SD Fuselage – FC-01

At this point we think we are ready to attach the front fuselage and cabin section to the rear fuselage per SD75-FF-11.

I had a number of clecos in place on the rear fuselage that had to be removed. The other aggravating thing was that I had already riveted the side skin gusset C75F4-7, along the bottom to the bottom longeron of the rear fuselage per SD75-FR-05. This made it more difficult to get the front cabin in place correctly. While I was able to get the front cabin in place anyway, were I building another I would only cleco the gusset in place so that I could remove it and then cleco and rivet it in place once I had the forward fuselage and cabin in place.

It took a little juggling but we managed to get it into place and clecod. At that point we had to call it a day as we did not have any A5 rivets remaining.

I thought I had some photos from another angle but it looks like the camera was not taking them. I’ll have to look into that once we get back to building in a couple of days.
